When a pane goes, the instinct is to ask how fast it can be replaced. The more useful question is how fast it can be made safe, because those are different jobs happening in a different order.
Glass is cut to the opening, so a genuine like-for-like replacement is almost never same-hour work. What is same-visit is clearing the broken glass, taking loose fragments out of the sash so nobody gets cut, and boarding or filming the opening so the building is closed.

What does securing the opening involve?

Someone broke in through the window. Can you repair the sash too?
Yes, and you should. A new pane in a damaged sash with a forced latch is not a secure window. We repair both.
